Henry VIII and the Trust Therapist

Henry VIII and the Trust Therapist

The date is March 1542. Henry's fifth wife Catherine Howard has been beheaded and Henry has been advised to go and see a therapist to help him with his 'issues' before he marries again.

The Facts

A lot of us already know a lot about Henry and his six wives. What is interesting is that the relationship he had with lovers is not reflective of the love he had for his Mother. He was a Mummy's Boy and clearly never found anyone to match up to her. He clearly had a problem trusting people, in all his relationships, not just with his wives. Poor old Cromwell.

It's ironic that he finally got it right with wife number six, Katherine Parr but they were only married for five years. And the relationships with his two daughters were not great, to say the least. Oh Henry, Henry, Henry.
